Portrait Photography

AVR Photography has vast experience of taking portrait photographs, both in the studio and out on location. We usually cover the Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire areas. Our subjects vary from babies, children, couples, family portraits and also pets.

We pride ourselves in making portrait sessions fun and relaxed, as we believe that an informal atmosphere ensures that we get the best from the shoot for the client.

We have an extensive selection of studio equipment and props at our disposal that can be used either in the studio, out on location or at your home address.

Many people like to have portrait photos taken in the comfort of their own home, and this often proves beneficial when taking photos of babies, children and pets. We have the equipment and expertise to provide a mobile studio set-up that can cater for the majority of room sizes. There is also the option of shoots being done outside in the garden, although this is dependent on the weather!

Also, if you choose one of our packages, for example 'baby's first year', then you can choose any image from those taken to have as your complimentary 10" x 8" print from each session, unlike some highstreet studios who only allow the client to choose from the first few photo's taken!

We can supply various mounts and frames or just supply the prints 'as is', allowing you to mount the photo in a frame yourself if you choose to do so. Here at AVR Photography we like to be as flexible as possible to enable the client to have the widest choice. Prints can be provided as 'gloss' or 'matt' and we can also provide prints on canvas or acryllic blocks. Please see our prices page for further information.

We have a secure online viewing gallery area whereby clients can log in with a username and password, supplied by us, and can view previews of the images at their leisure. If desired, the client can also provide access to family and friends so that they can view the images too. The client can then e-mail us with a list of images that they would like and we will then process the order.

We may also be able to provide a make-up artist for the session at competitive rates, so please mention this when contacting us.
